Disability support services
The Disability Services Officer can assist students with a disability by:

Providing prospective students with a selection of courses, enrolment procedures and general information regarding TAFE.

Speaking with students with a disability regarding their specific requirements

Liaising on behalf of students with a teacher/s to enable an understanding of student's specific requirements

Arranging for special equipment, access needs or services if necessary, eg. parking, exam/assessment modification, tutoring assistance, communication aids, and note takers

Creating an awareness of the needs of students with a disability among the staff and students at The Bremer Institute of TAFE.
Students with a disability should complete an Application for Disability Services Support form and forward it to the Student Services' Unit (C Block, Level 2, Bundamba Campus). This form is available from the Customer Service Centre or the Student Services' Unit. Once this form has been received by the Student Services' Unit you will be contacted by the Disability Services Officer.
