How Bremer works with schools

The Bremer Institute of TAFE recognises the importance of developing flexible and adaptable partnerships with local schools to ensure that our young people are provided with the workforce skills they need to achieve positive outcomes across the board.

The partnerships that The Bremer Institute of TAFE has and continues to develop with schools are designed to provide secondary school students with access to a range of vocational courses not accessible within a mainstream schooling environment.

Students can gain vocational skills and academic qualifications while completing their senior years.

The programs offered enable students who successfully complete to gain credit towards the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

Diploma programs offer not only 1 credit for each unit of competency successfully completed but also direct entry to the fulltime program and in most instances pathways to university.

School co-ordinators have more information on QCE points.  For more information visit Queensland Studies Authority.
