Fees
Fees do not include the cost of individual resources, stationery, uniforms, and access to materials, tools or other individual items of equipment necessary for the course.
Structure and duration of TAFE Queensland courses are subject to change. Course fees reflect the content of the course and the award, not the duration, therefore there is no automatic reduction of tuition fees if you complete the course in a shorter time than the published length of the course.
Tuition fees may be reduced or refunds may be granted only if you are granted sufficient credits or exemptions such that the course is completed in a shorter than normal time.
Fast tracking
If you fast track and complete your course in a shorter time than that specified in your Letter of Offer, you are not entitled to any refund of tuition fees. If you have not paid your tuition fees, you will not be eligible to graduate.
Attendance
You must retain full time status and a minimum of 80% attendance as a requirement of you student visa. If you fail to meet this requirement, the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs will be notified and your student visa may be cancelled.
Refund and transfer policy
With your Letter of Offer you will receive a refund and transfer policy which details your rights in relation to international course fees. The agreement must be signed as confirmation of your acceptance and returned with your payment of fees.
Payment of fees
Students will not be allowed to commence studies until all applicable fees are paid. This includes any OSHC, airport reception fees, late fees and administration charges from this offer as well as any previous offers you have with TAFE Queensland.
