Queensland Skills Plan
Queensland's labour market has fundamentally changed requiring a fresh approach to skills development to meet current and future needs. Some of these needs are critical and require immediate action. Others are long-term issues requiring incremental shifts in training strategies and workplace culture.
The Queensland Skills Plan outlines a policy framework that will better match the supply of skilled labour to industry's needs and the economy's demands. It sets out 24 actions the Queensland Government will take to implement these policies.
The actions contained within the plan were developed through a process of consultation with a broad cross-section of Queenslanders.
